At JVC we believe that ‘faith without deeds is dead’ (James 2:26) and that is why we are committed to reaching out beyond our own church walls. We partner with churches and organisations, both locally and internationally, to provide practical and financial help wherever God leads us.

In 2004, JVC reached out to the continent of Asia – namely a local church in Cherepovets, Russia. To support this church, we partnered with it’s vision to assist the children of Cherepovets. We purchased an apartment for the work which included helping the children with education and hygiene whilst also caring for their spiritual well-being. From those humble beginnings, we have seen many advances for God’s Kingdom in this area including a flourishing new church plant in Cherepovets. This church is called Light of Hope Church, named after the children’s work initiative.

Today in Russia, JVC work along with Igor and Olga Prokopyev of ICM Russia and together we support the children’s work by financially supporting the staff. The Light of Hope concept for children’s work has now been duplicated by other associate ICM Pastors in Archangel and Cherkessk in the Caucuses.

In 2014, TeamEquip was born. This was a JVC initiative with ICM and local church leaders to train, encourage and equip the Church in Russia. JVC hold annual teaching and training conference for church leaders in Moscow.

Church is who we are, not where we go.
